2013 6th April vs Southern and Yale B side

A great effort by the men of YGRFC today against B sides from SCSU and Yale undergrad. 8-5 and 12-0 wins, respectively. Outstanding plays from Kristian and Simon, with some Scottish hospitality added by Paddy.
A gritty team effort against SCSU with a strong defence helped us hold onto a win.
We shut out the Yale undergrads and dominated posession to score with both our forwards and backs, thus extending our perfect record for the Spring season thus far.

2013 30th March vs Columbia Business

After a warming up first half, we played a competitive second half where we tied the game.

Runner up spot:

2012 6-7th October Hogfest @ Philly

The combine Yale-Conell team stayed undefeated in the group stages with convincing wins over NYU and Wharton B side. However, we were undone in the semi finals against a physical Hogfest side. We lost by 3 tries but the game was closer than the score suggested. We made key mistakes but still put up a good fight towards the end.

2012 29th September at NYC vs NYU

We defeated a spirited NYU side even with most of our side unavailable. The final score was 21-15

2012 25th August NYU 7s tournament@NYC

Group stage:
We dominated both our group games against Gotham and the NYU undergrads, with our backs scoring many tries. We did not concede any tries as our defensive efforts were top class.

We were up against a spirited Cornell side and were evenly matched in the first half. In the second half, we rained in 3 tries and won the game.
